EmpowerU is a global empowerment initiative dedicated to building Success Preparedness — the life skills, confidence, resilience, and leadership capabilities individuals need to thrive in school, work, and life.
Founded in 2024, EmpowerU works with youth and women, especially those navigating social, educational, and economic barriers. We believe that talent exists everywhere, but opportunity does not — and bridging this gap requires more than academics alone.
But without Success Preparedness — the essential life-readiness toolkit — even the most capable students can fall into cycles of adversity.
This realization ignited the creation of EmpowerU — founded while Nivi was still at Harvard — with a mission to build the confidence, competence, and resilience needed for people to succeed in school, at work, and in life.
While EmpowerU welcomes individuals of all ages, the initiative places special focus on youth and women — those who continue to face the steepest barriers to advancement and leadership. Empowering them means empowering future families, stronger communities, and a more equitable tomorrow.
